Description
The Xiaomi Motion Sensor 2S is a compact smart home sensor designed to detect movement and micro-movement while also measuring ambient light levels. With a detection range of approximately 7 metres and a 130° monitoring angle, it can detect activity from people and pets and trigger connected smart home automations.
Its integrated illuminance sensor measures ambient light from 0 to 1000 lux, allowing compatible smart home systems to respond intelligently to changing lighting conditions. The sensor can be used to automate lights, trigger alerts or coordinate other compatible Xiaomi smart devices based on movement and environmental conditions.
Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy connectivity provides efficient wireless communication, while the CR2450 battery can provide up to three years of battery life. The adjustable adhesive mount allows the sensor to be positioned precisely, with up to 90° vertical and 360° horizontal adjustment.
