EFFECTIVE 17 SEPTEMBER 2026N-TECH COMPUTERS

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the N-Tech Computers online store and the purchase of products through the website. By placing an order through the website, the customer acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions, subject always to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

01About N-Tech Computers

1.1 The online store is operated by N-Tech Computers (“N-Tech”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

1.2 N-Tech supplies computers, laptops, computer components, gaming equipment, accessories and related products through its online store.

1.3 These Terms and Conditions apply to online purchases made through the N-Tech website.

02Products and Product Information

2.1 We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, pricing and availability displayed on the website are accurate and current.

2.2 Product images may be for illustrative purposes. Manufacturers may change product appearance, packaging or specifications without notice.

2.3 Hardware specifications may change due to manufacturer revisions or component substitutions. Where a material substitution is required, N-Tech will communicate the relevant change where reasonably possible.

2.4 Product availability shown online is subject to stock availability and supplier confirmation.

2.5 N-Tech reserves the right to correct genuine errors in pricing, descriptions or availability. If an error materially affects an order, N-Tech will contact the customer before processing the affected order.

03Prices

3.1 All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR). N-Tech Computers is not VAT registered, and VAT is therefore not charged on N-Tech's sales.

3.2 Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to an accepted order will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

3.3 Delivery or shipping charges, where applicable, may be shown separately before the order is finalised.

04Placing an Order

4.1 Customers may select products, add them to the shopping cart and submit an order through the website.

4.2 Submission of an order constitutes a request to purchase the selected products; it does not by itself guarantee stock availability or constitute acceptance where applicable.

4.3 N-Tech will send an order confirmation or order-related email containing the products ordered and the amount payable.

4.4 N-Tech may contact the customer where stock, pricing, product specification, delivery or customer information requires clarification.

4.5 N-Tech may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, incorrectly priced, discontinued, or where there is another legitimate reason, subject to applicable consumer law. Where payment has already been received for an order that N-Tech cannot fulfil, the applicable refund will be processed.

05Payment by EFT

5.1 N-Tech's online store operates on an EFT payment basis unless another payment method is expressly made available on the website.

5.2 After submitting an order, the customer will receive the order details and EFT payment instructions.

5.3 Orders will only be processed for dispatch or collection once the required payment has been received and cleared into N-Tech's nominated bank account.

5.4 Customers must use the correct payment reference supplied with the order. N-Tech is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payment references or incomplete payment information.

5.5 A customer must not send proof of payment for a payment that has not actually been made. N-Tech may verify payments with the relevant banking institution before releasing goods.

5.6 Bank details should always be confirmed against the official N-Tech order or invoice communication. If a customer receives a request to change banking details, they should independently verify the request with N-Tech before making payment.

06Order Processing, Collection and Delivery

6.1 Orders are processed after payment has been received and cleared.

6.2 Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by stock availability, supplier lead times, courier operations, public holidays, weather, unforeseen events or other circumstances outside N-Tech's reasonable control.

6.3 Where delivery is offered, the customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact details.

6.4 The customer should inspect the parcel and product condition as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and notify N-Tech promptly of any visible transit damage, missing items or incorrect products.

6.5 If a customer elects to collect an order, N-Tech may require proof of payment and suitable identification before releasing the goods.

6.6 Delivery charges, where applicable, will be communicated at checkout, on the order or by N-Tech before fulfilment.

07Returns, Exchanges and Cooling-Off Rights

7.1 N-Tech will comply with applicable consumer rights and return provisions under South African law.

7.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes or limits a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7.3 Where a statutory cooling-off right applies to an electronic transaction, the customer may exercise that right in accordance with the requirements and exclusions prescribed by applicable law.

7.4 Certain products or circumstances may be excluded from a cooling-off right or may be subject to specific statutory requirements. N-Tech will assess each return in accordance with applicable law.

7.5 Unwanted or change-of-mind returns are not automatically treated as warranty claims. Where a return is legally permitted, the customer may be responsible for return shipping or other costs to the extent permitted by law.

7.6 Products returned for inspection must be packaged securely. Customers should retain original packaging, accessories, manuals and proof of purchase where reasonably possible.

08Defective Goods and Statutory Warranty

8.1 Products supplied to consumers are subject to the statutory protections provided by the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (Act 68 of 2008), where applicable.

8.2 The Consumer Protection Act provides an implied warranty of quality and, subject to its requirements, provides remedies where goods fail to satisfy the applicable standards.

8.3 In terms of section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, within six months after delivery, a consumer may in qualifying circumstances return goods at the supplier's risk and expense and require the applicable remedy provided by the Act, including repair, replacement or refund.

8.4 The statutory warranty does not mean that every product failure is automatically a manufacturing defect. The cause and circumstances of the failure may need to be assessed.

8.5 Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accidental damage, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation, incompatible components, electrical faults, liquid damage, physical damage or failure to follow manufacturer instructions may affect warranty rights where permitted by law.

09Manufacturer and Supplier Warranties

9.1 Many products carry a manufacturer or supplier warranty in addition to applicable statutory consumer protections.

9.2 The duration and conditions of a manufacturer or supplier warranty differ by product and manufacturer. The warranty applicable to a product is generally the warranty provided by the relevant manufacturer or supplier.

9.3 Customers should retain invoices, serial numbers and other relevant documentation required to process a warranty claim.

9.4 Where a warranty claim must be submitted to a manufacturer, distributor or authorised service centre, N-Tech may assist with the process where reasonably possible, but the final warranty assessment and remedy may depend on the applicable warranty provider and applicable law.

10Warranty Shipping and Transport Costs

10.1 The customer is responsible for shipping or transport costs associated with warranty returns or submissions where those costs are lawfully the customer's responsibility.

10.2 Where applicable law requires N-Tech to bear return or transport costs, N-Tech will comply with that requirement.

10.3 Customers should contact N-Tech and obtain the required return or warranty instructions before sending products to N-Tech or a supplier. Unauthorised shipments may cause delays.

10.4 The customer is responsible for ensuring that products are securely packaged for transport when the customer is responsible for arranging shipment.

11Custom-Built Computers and Configured Systems

11.1 Custom-built or configured computers may contain components selected or approved by the customer.

11.2 Customers are responsible for reviewing the configuration and ensuring that it meets their intended requirements before placing an order.

11.3 Where a component becomes unavailable, N-Tech may propose an equivalent or upgraded alternative. Any material change will be communicated to the customer before the affected build proceeds.

11.4 Warranty coverage for individual components remains subject to the applicable statutory rights and manufacturer or supplier warranty terms.

11.5 Software licences and operating systems are subject to the licence terms of the relevant software publisher.

12Software and Digital Licences

12.1 Software supplied with a product is licensed, not sold, where the applicable software licence operates on that basis.

12.2 Customers must comply with the applicable software licence terms.

12.3 N-Tech does not provide support for unauthorised, pirated or illegally activated software.

13Customer Information and Privacy

13.1 N-Tech will process customer information in accordance with applicable South African privacy and data-protection law and N-Tech's Privacy Policy.

13.2 Customer information may be used to process orders, communicate with customers, arrange delivery, process warranty matters, issue invoices and comply with legal obligations.

13.3 Customers must provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information.

14Website Use

14.1 Customers may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

14.2 Website content, branding, graphics, text, product information and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws unless otherwise stated.

14.3 Customers may not reproduce, modify or commercially exploit N-Tech website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

15Availability and Errors

15.1 N-Tech aims to keep the website available and information accurate, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

15.2 N-Tech may temporarily suspend or modify the website for maintenance, updates, security or other operational reasons.

15.3 N-Tech will not be responsible for losses caused solely by events beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

16Limitation of Liability

16.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or limits any right, warranty, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.

16.2 Subject to the above, N-Tech will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from a customer's use of the website or products, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

16.3 Customers should use products in accordance with manufacturer instructions and applicable safety requirements.

17Complaints and Dispute Resolution

17.1 Customers should first contact N-Tech with any complaint relating to an order, product, delivery or warranty matter so that the matter can be investigated and resolved where possible.

17.2 N-Tech will handle complaints in accordance with applicable consumer-protection requirements.

17.3 Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising a right to approach a competent regulator, ombud, tribunal or court where permitted by law.

18Changes to These Terms

18.1 N-Tech may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to the website, products, business processes or applicable law.

18.2 The version applicable to an order will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the terms presented to the customer at the relevant time.

19Governing Law

19.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

19.2 Any dispute will be dealt with by a competent South African forum, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional requirements.
