Description

Take large-format 3D printing to the next level with the Anycubic Kobra S1 Max. Designed for makers, engineers, designers and demanding hobbyists, this fully enclosed CoreXY FDM printer combines a 350 × 350 × 350mm build volume with print speeds of up to 600mm/s, high-temperature extrusion and support for engineering-grade materials.

A 350°C hardened steel hotend, hardened steel extrusion gears and a PEI spring steel build plate allow the Kobra S1 Max to handle everything from everyday PLA and PETG to abrasive carbon-fibre and glass-fibre reinforced materials.

Large-format CoreXY performance

  • 350 × 350 × 350mm build volume
  • CoreXY motion system with linear rods
  • Recommended print speed of 300mm/s
  • Maximum print speed of 600mm/s
  • Up to 20,000mm/s² acceleration
  • Kobra OS firmware
  • Pressure advance and flow calibration
  • Designed for large models, prototypes and batch production

Built for engineering materials

The Kobra S1 Max goes beyond basic filament compatibility. Its 350°C hardened steel nozzle and hardened steel extrusion gears are designed for demanding and abrasive materials, including carbon-fibre and glass-fibre composites.

Supported materials include PLA, PETG, PET, PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PVA, ABS, ASA, PC, PA, PA6-CF, PC-CF/GF and PET-CF.

The standard 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle can also be expanded to 0.25mm, 0.6mm or 0.8mm options for different printing requirements.

Automatic calibration and reliable first layers

The integrated LeviQ3.0 automatic levelling system takes care of bed calibration before printing, while object-skip and area levelling provide additional control across the large build surface.

Pressure advance and flow calibration help maintain consistent extrusion, clean walls and accurate corners throughout a print.

The PEI spring steel build plate reaches up to 120°C, providing reliable adhesion while making completed prints easier to remove.

Intelligent monitoring for long prints

Large-format and engineering prints can take many hours to complete, so the Kobra S1 Max includes several systems designed to reduce print failures.

AI Spaghetti Detection monitors for failed prints, while filament runout and filament entanglement detection help protect jobs from common filament-related problems. Power-loss resume allows interrupted prints to continue after an unexpected outage.

A built-in 720P HD camera also allows remote monitoring through the Anycubic App.

Connected and easy to control

The Kobra S1 Max features a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen running Kobra OS, with support for multiple languages.

Prints can be managed through the printer itself, compatible slicing software, the Anycubic App or a USB drive. Remote monitoring makes it possible to check on long-running jobs without being physically next to the printer.

Despite its performance and large build volume, the Kobra S1 Max is rated at ≤45dB in Quiet mode and ≤48dB in Standard mode.
